Molly R. Kiser

PRACTICE OVERVIEW

Molly R. Kiser is licensed to practice law in Virginia and North Carolina.  Her principal areas of practice include real property law and creditor’s rights/default servicing law.  She finds particular fulfillment in helping her buyer and seller clients get to the closing table (such as by negotiating and drafting contracts, clearing title issues, and assisting in getting that pesky ex off title). She has also carved out a niche practice of helping heirs navigate the moment of inheriting real property subject to a reverse mortgage, domesticating foreign judgments in Virginia, and facilitating foreclosures for hard money and non-institutional noteholders (a/k/a normal people who lend money to family/friends using real property as collateral). Molly also enjoys frequent speaking engagements at local real estate brokerages and membership organizations.

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE

Molly grew up in the Palm Springs area of Southern California but chose to make Virginia her home after she moved here for college and fell in love with its history, traditions, landscapes, and people. One such person was her husband, Jeff, an estate planning attorney she met during their first days of law school. They live in Isle of Wight County and spend their free time enjoying family and friends, taking scenic drives, eating delicious food, listening to music, reading, and watching Dodger baseball.
